Your catalogue has changed and the QR is already on the packaging. Before ordering another print run, check whether the QR is dynamic and your account permits editing. If it does, you can update the content behind its stable address and test the same printed copy.
Keep the printed identifier
The destination is the page or content visitors should reach. The identifier belongs to the address encoded in the QR image. Updating a destination must preserve that identifier. Renaming a campaign for organisation is a different task from changing its public address.
Make a change you can check
- Find the QR in the correct account and check its type and current destination.
- Keep the previous information for comparison, without putting private data in public notes.
- Edit the destination field or file supported by that type. Owners and editors act within their permissions; viewers do not gain editing rights.
- Save and check the application result. An unsuccessful attempt is not a completed update.
- Scan an already printed copy and verify that the expected page or document opens.
Verify the actual content
For a PDF, check its version and an item that changed. For a link, check the address and next action. Use another device when your audience will use different phones.
Changing a colour, logo or frame in the account cannot change paper that has already been printed. New physical artwork requires a new printed piece; updating the destination is a separate operation.
If editing is unavailable, check your role, plan features, QR type and state. Do not change a distributed code's identifier to work around a problem. Static encoded information cannot be replaced, and external destinations depend on their operators. The owner can open an account support ticket with the task and error, without sharing passwords or payment details.
